Screen Smash

A damaged phone screen is undesirable, especially a cracked touchscreen, notably in a sophisticated display like the one in the Mustang Mach-E. Engineers used a special application of Dragontrail™ glass to ensure the durability of the 15.5-inch touchscreen. It is mounted on a sturdy magnesium structure capable of withstanding pulling or bumping.

Tough Seats

Recognizing the rigorous usage of Ford truck seats, our engineers work to strive for long-term durability. Using a robot that mimics the motion of a person entering and exiting the seat, this process is repeated 51,000 times—a equivalent to 10 years of use on Ford truck seats.
